Auction Id: 41 Date: Thursday, October 11, 2001 03:19:17PM Subject: Bidding Resumption Bidding will resume on Friday, October 12, 2001 at 9:00 AM ET using the 8-round bidding schedule previously announced. Due to technical difficulties experienced by the FCC during Round 20 of Auction 41, Market MTA023-31 was incorrectly withdrawn as a standing high bid from Space Data Spectrum Holdings, LLC. The FCC has since restored this high bid and adjusted Space Data's eligibility accordingly. We have also re-run Round Results for Round 20 and posted new files. This includes new .mdb files for the Auction Tracking Tool as well as the .txt and .dbf ALL_BIDS, HIGH_BIDS, MAXIMUM_ELIGIBILITY, and WITHDRAWALS files. Only to the extent that these files or any reports produced by Results Explorer were affected by the restoration of the market to Space Data Spectrum Holdings, LLC, will they differ from those produced immediately after Round 20 yesterday. No other system data was altered or affected and the coding error which resulted in the incorrect withdrawal has been corrected. Bidders using the FCC Auction Tracking Tool (ATT) will need to re-import the mdb files (41_020.zip) to reflect the corrected information in the tool. To do this, you will need to re-download the updated data files for Round 20. Then you will start up the ATT and open the existing Auction 41. From the File Menu, select "Import....". You will be asked to select a round results data file to import. After you select Round 20, click on the "OK" button. This set of steps will preserve any tables built with the Table Wizard, queries built with the SQL Query Builder, and any extra features you have set up using Microsoft Access. Any custom SQL Queries will need to be re-run to refresh the data. If you have any questions or require technical assistance, contact the FCC Technical Support Hotline at (202) 414-1250 (V) or (202) 414-1255 (TTY). The Commission regrets any inconvenience this situation may have caused.
